2025 Open Enrollment Dates: April 28th – May 2nd
All newly benefit eligible employees with Springfield School District have the option to enroll in the benefits offered by your school district. You will need to speak with a Benefit Counselor in order to elect or decline. Benefit Counselors are available to educate you on all of your benefit options.

Important Information
** Newly benefit eligible employees must speak with a Benefit Counselor to designate a beneficiary for your Employer Provided Life Insurance regardless of whether you elect benefits or not.
** Address changes– Employees must complete the Residency Certification Form. This form is located in the Additional Resources Tile below. Forms must be returned to HR within 10 days.
** Employees who are waiving medical coverage, must complete a medical waiver form to be returned to HR within 30 days. You will find the form in the Additional Resources Tile.
** Dependent verification must be returned to HR within 30 days.
** For those enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan, the HSA form only needs to be completed at the start of the calendar year or if you would like to make changes to your contributions. The form is found in the Health Savings Account Tile.

Call Center Enrollment
What to expect during a benefits enrollment call: During your call, you will have the opportunity to speak with a Benefits Counselor on a 1-on-1 basis via a call center to ask questions and make informed decisions about which coverage or coverages best suit the needs of you and your family. In addition, this will give you the opportunity to have a spouse on the phone if desired. The Benefit Counselor will verify your information and go over all benefit options with you. Please note that all calls are confidential.
